Can I sell my lawsuit to a collection agency?

I won a lawsuit against a former landlord. I am waiting on getting paid but it seems unlikely that it wll occur anytime soon. Am I allowed to sell that to a collection agency. I know in selling it I won't get the full amount. I just want to get it out the way for lack of better terms.
