;/please answer this question below:(?

There has been this birds nest next door and they have been there for ages but the bird has not long ago had babys there about a month old,but we have had new neighboroughs moove in and they have built over the nest and had this exstention type thing but the mum is locked out of its nest ;/ so she cant got to her babies ad she has been waiting out side the nest for about 3 days now we have told the next dppr neighboroughs and they got the builders to see if they could get them out,but all they could see were empty nests;/ but they might still be in there because they couldn't see properly.but i think that they might be dead tbh:/wil the bird be wanting to go to its babies or will it just want its home because it really upsetting seeing it waiting outside its home trying to get to its babie when they cant?;/will the bird ever forgett about it?i mean i no its only s bird but wll it have more babies and moove on do you think?please answer it will make me feel better x
