Wll they accept me into school for the mentally disabled?

Its a school for people with mental disabilities to help them function in the world.I'm an autistic developmentallly disabled man.My dad and my stepmom took me over there to get an I.Q test and hear my story of why I need to be there.They were reluctant to accept me because my i.q is 84 and they say that that school is really intended for people who are retarded.My dad got them to reconsider it on the grounds that I'm developmentally disabled and they'll let us know if I've been accepted or not.I need to go to this school.I don't want to spend the rest of my life in this trailer that they got for me.Its a nice trailer,but I want to move back in with my mom so that I can focus on getting a better paying job.So do you think they'll accept me.
