Anorexia and psychiatric drugs?

I am on tofranil 25 mg, and Xanax 3 mg at night. But I am also anorexic. Could taking these on an empty stomach cause any serious damage? Please don't lecture me. I've been down this road before, I just wasn't taking medication.
