Will my credits transfer after I graduate from a community college?

Most likely the majority of your classes will transfer to a 4 year school. Community colleges usually have very similar classes and academic standards to the universities in the state where they are located. This is because most of the students who transfer from the cc will go to a state university in that state and they must be prepared for the work. The best way to find out what classes will transfer is to speak with an academic adviser at your cc. They will be able to help you chose the correct courses and help you pick a school that will be right for you. I would suggest that you look into the public universities in your home state they will give you a great education and they will be the most cost efficient. If you do well at your cc you might also be eligible for a generous scholarship to an in state school. Finally there is a good possibility that you will only have to take 2 more years of school in order to graduate with your bachelors degree. I hope this was helpful. Good luck with school! I am sure you will do very well!
