Xanax 2.0 i need help!! in the dose for my anxiety...?

Okay im originally suposed to take .25 mg so they told me to cut my 2.0mg in 8 pieces...so i took one piece at 3....but right now im starting to get a little anxiety feeling..now can i drink another piece....also i took my triampt hctz water pill around 8 will i be okay if i drink the meds?
